J's Post 16

Unhappy :(

My weight went up to 344 today. I don't really know why. Yesterday I had a chai latte for breakfast. I figure when I have those, I usually don't eat with them because they have plenty of calories, plus they fill me up.   I had chicken and quinoa for lunch. I had a twix candy bar mid afternoon, and for "dinner" at like 5 I had wheat thins with slices of salami and then some leftover queso and chips. Not really the best food choices, but overall not a lot of food. Plus I ate kind of early. I didn't think I would gain. I fell asleep on the couch at 8 and woke up at 11pm. Then I went to bed. I've had a reoccurring migraine for three days, and since my meds haven't worked I went to the clinic today and got a shot of demerol, so I've been knocked out all evening.

Today I had a lean cuisine for lunch, jimmy dean breakfast bowl mid afternoon (breakfast that I didn't get to eat), a snack size bag of mini rolo candies, then when I woke up from my drug-induced slumber at 9 had some quinoa and chicken. Head is still iffy, and i didn't want to eat dinner, but I knew I needed something on my stomach and quinoa is a whole grain, so it was probably the best choice.

I'm really frustrated about the weight that came back on. I don't understand why. The sugar I had was not enough to cause THAT much of a gain. If anything I could see if causing a stall. Ugh.
